Job Title: Road Fleet Co-ordinator Location: London NW1 Contract Length: 3 months Rate: Ј80-Ј100 per day
Job Purpose Manage records relating to road vehicles and drivers at local level. Provide support at local level covering all road vehicle fleet issues. Manage driver log sheets.
Key Accountabilities Ensure vehicles are maintained in accordance with manufacturers service schedules Maintain a record of driver licence records to enable company compliance with legal requirements relating to use of vehicles. Provide advice on and ensure local compliance with company policy, and transport and tax related legislation. Support requirements for short term hire arrangements. Manage local distribution of fuel cards, tax discs and MOT reminders.
Essential Fleet industry background. Commercial aptitude. Knowledge of vehicle design and specification. Knowledge of tax legislation relating to use of company vehicles.
Desirable Membership of appropriate industry body or institution. Holder of the Certificate of Professional Competence to manage fleet Operators Licence.
